Description
A rust-inhibiting primer for all bare ferrous metal surfaces, our Farrow and Ball Metal Primer dark tones is designed to create a smooth foundation on gates, railings, furniture, radiators, and metal downpipes before using Modern Eggshell, Exterior Eggshell, Estate Eggshell, Full Gloss, or Dead Flat.
We recommend that a specialist primer is applied to Cast Iron surfaces prior to painting as water-based primers may lead to flash rusting.
This Farrow and Ball Dark Metal Undercoat is ideal as a Farrow and Ball primer for metal or dark radiator primer, and is suitable for use with dark tone Farrow & Ball colours, ensuring a rich, even, and long-lasting finish.
Farrow & Ball products are mixed into genuine Farrow & Ball paint bases using the official tinting machine. All paint and colour pigments used are provided by Farrow & Ball.
